This week at Auckland Castle
We
are in the final stages of the legal process to transfer Auckland Castle to the
new Trust, watch this space for news.
In the meantime, we are already heavily into
planning for the future of the Castle. The first stage of architectural work is
almost complete, and work on planning the exhibitions is kicking off. We hope
to put in large grant applications in the autumn to fund the restoration work,
and we are looking forward to a royal visit this summer to mark the start of a
new era for the Castle
